E-Bike Permit and Safety Course Information McAuliffe Middle School 

 

Dear McAuliffe Community, 

Thank you for partnering with us to ensure the safety and well-being of our student e-bike riders. We will continue to enforce e-bike permits for all e-bike riders for the 2025-26 school year. 

If your student missed the in-person e-bike safety course, we offer an online version that your student may access independently from home. You will find the link to review this Slides presentation as a family below.

After reviewing the presentation, students should take the e-bike safety quiz linked below. Students must receive a passing score on the quiz in order to be eligible to receive an e-bike permit sticker.

Lastly, complete the parent/guardian and student agreement signature page and submit the completed document to the front office. After reviewing all documents, the office will issue the e-bike safety sticker.

Permits need to be visibly displayed on the e-bikes, as campus supervisors will begin checking bikes upon arriving on campus. Please be advised that students are not permitted to ride or park e-bikes on campus without a valid permit sticker clearly displayed. Violations of e-bike safety rules may result in the loss of riding privileges and revocation of the permit. E-bikes brought to campus without a permit may be held and released only to a parent or guardian.
