FOOD SERVICES INFORMATION 

  • Los Alamitos Unified School District is pleased to continue offering free breakfast and lunch to all students during the 2026–2027 school year through the National School Lunch and School Breakfast Programs.
  • Each student is assigned a unique Personal Identification Number (PIN) that remains the same throughout their enrollment in the district, regardless of which Los Alamitos school they attend. 
  • You will receive your child's PIN in an upcoming ParentSquare message. To help ensure a smooth and efficient meal service, please help your child learn and remember their PIN, as they will need to enter it each time they receive a school breakfast or lunch.
  • Visit the Nutrition Services website for lunch menus, meal program information, online meal account payments, and district food service updates. An interactive menu is also available through My School Menus.

 

 

  • APPLYING FOR FREE & REDUCED MEAL BENEFITS:
    • Although all students receive free breakfast and lunch, completing a Free & Reduced-Price Meal Application is still extremely important.
    • Eligible families may qualify for additional benefits beyond school meals. In addition, the information collected helps Los Alamitos Unified School District receive funding and resources that support student programs and services under California's school funding formula.

  • Food Allergies & Medical Meal Accommodations:
    • If your child has a food allergy or medical condition that requires a special meal accommodation, please ensure a current Medical Statement for Meal Accommodation is on file.

 

Please complete a new Medical Statement if: 

  • Your child has a new food allergy or meal accommodation, or
  • Your child’s dietary restrictions have changed, or
  • You have not yet submitted a Medical Statement
